Organizing with Cereal Boxes - DIY

My sister showed me another great DIY! I love it when she's into crafting like me, she's really good at it too! This time I created these great organizers, also known as magazine holders, from cereal boxes. I've been eating my cereal anxiously, awaiting that last bowl so I can cut the box and decorate it! (I love cereal so I have a lot of boxes!) There's really no correct method of doing this, there are plenty tutorials and ways to do these online.

The tools I used were 2 cereal boxes, one Club crackers box, tape, scissors, and wrapping paper. I cut the boxes at angles so that they lined up side by side because I knew I wanted to have them next to each other. Next, I was actually going to use the club crackers box as another organizer for envelopes but then I realized the boxes all lined up perfectly in width. This gave me the idea to use it as a holding box instead of taping the organizers together and risk messing up the paper. (You'll see what I mean in the photos.)

After I was done cutting and measuring, I used some leftover wrapping paper I had from Papyrus to wrap them. So I didn't pay a dime for these! And yes, I wrapped them like I would wrap Christmas gifts!

Cereal box #1 done!

Cereal box #2 done! I love that the bird landed right in the center!

Now to work on the Club crackers box! Sorry I didn't have any pictures on how I cut this one, but I taped the flaps down and cut out the entire back of the box.

I loved the way this came out! Now it can hug the cereal boxes nice and tight!

I hope you liked this DIY and it encourages you to try some of your own!
