Brunch at Agave
A Sunday off in New York is an opportunity for brunch. This time, we were trying out Agave in Greenwich Village. When we were looking online for boozy brunches this was the first place to come up and when we got there, we saw why. The place was packed with boozy brunch goers! We waited a few minutes and got seats at the bar, which was nice because we got our refills faster. For $32.95 you get unlimited margaritas, mimosas, or wine, and an entree. I ordered the blueberry pancakes with cream cheese and lemon cream. They were delicious and I loved the combination of lemon and blueberry together. My mimosa went perfectly with my entree.
Joanna ordered the steak and eggs. The steak was cooked well, the eggs were nice and fluffy, but the potatoes were the star of the dish.
To take advantage of the bottomless drink special, we ordered about 3 rounds of drinks. The drinks consisted of margaritas (frozen and on the rocks) in flavors like pomegranate, blood orange, and strawberry, two mimosas and one glass of Chardonnay. I'd say this was a great deal and a great place to go with a group of friends!
Although it was snowing, I wanted to dress up of course! Details on my outfit: Cropped Pancho by Eva Mendes from New York & Company Necklace from New York & Company Jeans from Old Navy Makeup all Avon products
