Chalkboard Vase - DIY

I love painting ordinary objects and making them extraordinary. For this DIY I painted glass jars, that were originally aroma jars, with chalkboard paint to give them a new look. I got the chalkboard paint from Michael's with a 50% off coupon, the jars were free from my job's recycle bin, and I found a pack of 9 paint brushes at the dollar store!

For glass, it says the paint takes 21 days to completely dry enough for you to write on them. After it's dry, you have to cover the surface with chalk and rub it off for a good writing surface. Can't wait to write cute notes on my flower vases!
