HUNGRY IN HEELS

Go Bold! Mixing Graphic Patterns

I'm super excited to share this OOTD inspired by Fashion Guru, Stacy London! I love her; she is daring, bold, fun, and classy. She was a co-host on TLC's What Not to Wear and was also the host of TLC's Love, Lust, or Run. She says a lot of things that resonate with me about style and I just love the way she puts things together. I was always nervous about mixing prints and patterns until I heard her say you can mix prints as long as they're in the same color family. Then boom! Things started getting more fun after that!

For this OOTD I mixed black and white prints with a pop of color. I kept the prints bold up top with the floral blouse and clutch, then brought it back in with the mild black & white in my shoes. Altogether it made for a cohesive Spring look that's great for brunch, lunch, and even my job! These amazing photos were taken by the lovely photographer Ania Wasowicz. Blouse: New York & Company (Currently on sale!) Pants: Banana Republic (similar pair here) Shoes: Payless (similar pair here) Necklace & Sunglasses: New York & Company Clutch: DSW

Thanks so much for checking out this OOTD! Remember, have fun with bold colors and patterns this Spring!
