HUNGRY IN HEELS

Fun With Work Attire

A lot of you may or may not know, but I am a Graphic Designer at a Creative Agency here in NYC. That gives me a lot of creative freedom, both at work and in my wardrobe. When the weather is nice, I take advantage and have fun with it. For this OOTD, I mixed a couple of my favorite affordable brands to create something fun, colorful, and still professional.

Blazer: Macy's (Tahari) This is a classic black blazer that I got on sale for $60 at Macy's. Normally I wouldn't spend this much but, it was something I was going to wear time and time again. A classic black blazer is a key staple in my wardrobe.

Graphic Tee & Jeans: Old Navy You will seriously never catch me in a graphic tee but I had to have this when I saw it online! As a designer, I appreciate beautiful letterforms and this graphic tee was perfect. These yellow rockstar jeans are so soft and comfortable! A great shade for transitioning from Summer to Fall! Shoes: Payless I got these on a great sale for $19.99 (no shame in my coupon game!) and was extremely surprised with how comfortable they are considering all the straps. It actually makes it easier to walk in because of the support at the top of your foot and the thick heel. Laptop Bag: Amazon (Coolbell) What an amazing find! I was searching for a bag that would fit my new (and big) 15" Macbook Pro, that I have to take to work every day, and my purse was killing my shoulder! I decided on a backpack with the only condition that it wouldn't clash with my outfits. Love the color and the style! I can carry it as a backpack, a handheld suitcase, a messenger, and clip it onto luggage. For $40 I'd say that's a steal!

Thanks for checking out this OOTD! Have fun with work attire!
