Glazed Donut Burger
There's a crazy place to eat in Washington Heights that's fairly new and it has really unique menu items. Crazy Annie's is a new, casual American restaurant and bar inspired by a crazy aunt ‘Annie’. They have giant milkshakes covered in cookies and candy (which you can spike), fun sandwiches, including a chicken and waffle sandwich, and a bunch of different burgers.
The burger that intrigued me was the Glazed Donut Burger. I love sweet and salty together and this is something I've always wanted to try since I saw it on their menu when they opened. This burger has 2 mini burger patties, a fried egg, bacon, and American cheese all inside a fluffy glazed donut. I also ordered tater tots because when there's tater tots, you always get tater tots right? I was in heaven. It was everything I expected and more. I ate the entire thing AND still had room for dessert!
Living my best life:
My mom had Annie's Mac & Cheese, which is always a good choice, and my sister ordered the beef sliders. I'm a big fan of using the shells instead of macaroni.
For dessert, we got the Twix Pie which is 3 layers of crispy cookie crust, homemade caramel, and homemade chocolate ganache. It tasted just like a Twix candy bar! We had a great time at Crazy Annie's, so if you're ever in the mood for something crazy, pay them a visit!.
Crazy Annie's is located at 3910 Broadway on 164th street in Washington Heights. Thanks for checking out this post! Stay tuned for more foodie adventures :)
