HUNGRY IN HEELS

Marcha Brunch

A place that is near and dear to my heart (and my apartment) is Marcha Cocina Bar. Marcha is a Spanish tapas restaurant located in Washington Heights (as well as a second location now on Avenue C) and I have come to know and love the food as well as the owners. They are very hospitable guys with good energy who always welcome you with a smile. I have been going here since it opened in 2012 and I am never disappointed. My favorite time to go is for brunch and they have great menu options, great music, and bottomless mimosas! I have celebrated so many things here like new jobs, graduations, birthdays, and Mother's Day. Definitely stop by for the drink of the day when you're in the area because they have HAPPY HOUR every day! Below: Marcelo Crespo and Jairo de la Paz, co-owners of Marcha Cocina. Here are some of the things I like to order when I go for brunch: STUFFED FRENCH TOAST Brioche, maple syrup, honeyed cream cheese, seasonal fruit salad.

BRUNCH PLATE Two scrambled eggs, home fried potatoes, buttermilk pancakes, applewood bacon or Spanish chorizo

STEAK AND EGGS Grilled skirt steak, organic sunny side eggs, home-fried potatoes, mixed greens salad

There are always different options for dessert which keeps things interesting, and it's always a surprise when I go. This time, dessert was Espresso Flan!

Thanks so much or checking out this post! Be sure to visit Marcha and stay tuned for more foodie adventures! Marcha Cocina Bar Washington Heights is located at 4055 Broadway.
