Summer Staples
For this OOTD I wanted to showcase 4 pieces that are essential to my Summer Wardrobe. I always have a pair of white skinny jeans and this pair from Old Navy is awesome because it has a great amount of stretch in it and it is not so see-through like I feel most white denim is. Because I'm 5'4" I love getting ankle length jeans because they stop at just the right spot for me without feeling too short. It's also a great length to show off my heels!
Another staple is a classic chambray button-down. I have so, so many of these in different washes because they just go with everything and I can dress them up or down. This one in particular is a recent purchase from Old Navy and I got it in petite because I felt like regular button-downs were a little too long and got really wrinkled at the bottom. I loved this light wash shade and the petite fit perfectly!
Item number three is a great pair of city sandals. I love, love, love, these Brash Tart block heel sandals from Payless! I've posted about them before and honestly I'm obsessed! I haven't had any issues with these heels and it's a great neutral! I just got my birthday coupon from Payless so I used it to buy these again for next Summer in BOTH colors! Great birthday gift!
Last but not least, the fourth item you need in your Summer wardrobe is a pair of great sunglasses. A lot of my sunglasses are from Payless like I'm wearing here. However, you can find great sunglasses pretty much anywhere!
