HUNGRY IN HEELS

Color Factory

Another "instagram-bait" pop up museum opened in NYC. Color Factory is a collaborative interactive exhibit that immerses you in wild and unique color experiences. To be honest, I was expecting something completely different. I thought it was just going to be a bunch of rooms you walk through and you will get cool pictures out of it. Color Factory was really interactive. In fact, so interactive that it's considered a "hands-free' exhibit.

Upon walking in, you sign up on a tablet for a card with a QR code on it and that is connected to your email. You scan this card in every room and there's a camera that takes your photos for you. I love this feature! I could take as many pictures as I like and all of my photos were in my email when I was done. I've never seen anything like this at any other exhibit. Every spot you stood in had great lighting which is really important.

Another fun feature of Color Factory was the surprise treat in almost every room. You never knew what you were going to get next! My personal favorite were the macarons!

I don't want to give everything away, so you're just going to have to check it out for yourself! Here are a few pictures from my experience!

Thanks for checking out this post! check back for more art experiences in NYC. Color Factory is located at 251 Spring Street New York, NY 10013.
